Overview

About our surface & booster pumps

Surface pumps installed above the water source for pressure boosting, transfer and irrigation. The range runs from compact QB60 peripheral pumps for household pressure to self-priming jet pumps, automatic booster sets with pressure tanks, 2-inch high-flow centrifugal pumps and stainless steel horizontal and vertical multistage pumps.

FAQ

Surface & Booster: common questions

What is the difference between a jet pump and a centrifugal pump?

A jet pump uses an ejector to create suction, so it self-primes and lifts water from deeper wells (up to about 8–9 m, or deeper with an external ejector). A standard centrifugal pump moves larger flows efficiently but needs flooded or primed suction.

What is a peripheral (vortex) pump used for?

Peripheral pumps such as the QB60 produce high pressure at low flow, ideal for boosting household water pressure and filling roof tanks.

When should I use a multistage pump?

When you need high pressure at moderate flow — for example high-rise buildings, irrigation sprinklers or reverse osmosis systems. Our horizontal and vertical stainless steel multistage pumps cover these duties.

Can I order mixed models in one shipment?

Yes. Most customers combine several models — and often several product families — in one pallet or container order to keep stock balanced.
